Thank you so much for inviting me to volunteer at the community food drive on Saturday, November 9. I would be delighted to take part, and I really admire the work your team does for local families every year.

Before I confirm completely, I wanted to mention that I coach my son's soccer game until noon that day. Would it be acceptable for me to take an afternoon shift instead of the morning one listed in your email?

Also, could you let me know whether volunteers should bring their own gloves, whether lunch is provided during the shift, and whether parking is available behind the community centre on event day?

I am really looking forward to helping out, meeting the other volunteers, and doing my small part for the neighbourhood before the holidays.
