+600 CRS with Express Entry
Saskatchewan Express Entry and the Express Entry options of the Health and Innovation and Tech Talent Pathways add 600 points to your federal profile.
5,261 nominations in 2026
Saskatchewan's 2026 allocation, up from 4,761 at the start of the year. At least half is for priority sectors such as health care, agriculture and skilled trades.
Language tests and SINP points
The SINP accepts CELPIP-General, IELTS and PTE Core for English, and TEF Canada and TCF Canada for French. Results must be less than 2 years old when you apply. CLB 4 means CELPIP 4 in listening, reading, writing and speaking. Native speakers from an English- or French-speaking country do not need a test unless they apply through Express Entry, but they get no language points. On the points grid, your first language test earns up to 20 points (CLB 8 or higher), and a test in the other official language earns up to 10 more.

Saskatchewan PNP questions
What English level does the Saskatchewan PNP need?
Most worker streams need at least CLB 4, which is CELPIP 4 in all four abilities. The Health Talent Pathway needs CLB 5 (CLB 7 for its Express Entry option), and the Innovation and Tech Talent Pathway needs CLB 5 unless you already work for the employer. Saskatchewan Express Entry uses the federal Express Entry minimum.
Does a Saskatchewan nomination add 600 CRS points?
Only through Saskatchewan Express Entry or the Express Entry options of the Health and Innovation and Tech Talent Pathways. You accept the nomination in your Express Entry profile within 30 days and get 600 points. The other SINP streams are not Express Entry streams.
Can I apply to the SINP without a job offer?
Occupation In-Demand and Saskatchewan Express Entry do not need a job offer. You submit an Expression of Interest and wait for an invitation. But Saskatchewan has no draws scheduled, and the last published selection was on September 12, 2024. All other open streams need a Saskatchewan job offer.
How much does it cost?
The SINP application fee is $500 and is non-refundable. If your application is found ineligible, a second review costs $250, and you must ask for it within 30 days.
How does the SINP points grid work?
The International Skilled Worker subcategories score you out of 110 points on education, work experience, language, age and your connection to Saskatchewan. You need at least 60 points to apply. A job offer earns 30 points in Employment Offer; in the other two subcategories, a close relative, past work and past study in Saskatchewan earn up to 30.
Can I apply as an entrepreneur or farmer?
No. Saskatchewan permanently closed all Entrepreneur and Farm pathways on March 27, 2025, and accepts no new applications.
