Changes to know
- Since June 11, 2026, Career Employment Pathway candidates with an active EOI and at least 6 months of Manitoba work experience are invited to move to the Skilled Worker in Manitoba pathway.
- Work permit support letters under the Temporary Public Policy closed to new applicants on December 16, 2025. The Workforce Transition Bridge policy (signed July 6, 2026) extends the nomination deadline to December 31, 2027, but only for people who got a support letter in 2024 or 2025.
- Draws are targeted. In Draw #281 (October 8, 2026), Manitoba invited workers employed in Manitoba in selected occupations, such as health and teaching, and candidates it had invited directly through strategic recruitment initiatives.

Based on the MPNP EOI ranking points grid (immigratemanitoba.com, page updated October 2, 2026). Language points count each of the 4 abilities in your stronger official language. Only your highest-scoring connection to Manitoba counts, and regional points do not combine with a Manitoba Demand connection. All candidates must have at least one connection to Manitoba. Recent draws select by occupation or invitation, so a high score alone may not bring an invitation. Your official score is the one Manitoba assigns.

Manitoba PNP questions
What English level does the Manitoba PNP need?

Does a Manitoba nomination add 600 CRS points?
Yes, if it is an enhanced nomination. Create an Express Entry profile before your MPNP EOI, and add your profile number and Job Seeker Code to the EOI. If you are nominated, you get 600 extra points in Express Entry. Other nominations are base nominations outside Express Entry.

How much does it cost?
An EOI is free. If you get a Letter of Advice to Apply, the application fee is $500 and is non-refundable. You pay the permanent residence fees to IRCC separately.
How are MPNP EOIs ranked?
