But then, one by one, other passengers joined in, humming and then singing the same gentle tune, until the whole bus was filled with music. The genuinely unusual part was how complete strangers, tired commuters like me, harmonised as if we'd rehearsed. I sat there stunned, then found myself smiling and quietly joining in too. When my stop came, I almost didn't want to leave. Who knew a boring bus could turn into something so magical? I still hum that tune sometimes.

Everyone gasped, and honestly so did I. I ended up spending the whole afternoon exploring it. To think I'd walked past that wall dozens of times, never guessing what was behind it. It made me realise how many small wonders we miss in the most familiar places.
