It started as the most ordinary evening bus ride home after a long, dull day at work. I was staring out of the window, half asleep, when I noticed the passengers around me were unusually quiet. Then I spotted the small clue: an elderly man near the front had begun softly playing a violin. At first I thought it was just background noise. But then, one by one, other passengers joined in, humming and then singing the same gentle tune, until the whole bus was filled with music. The genuinely unusual part was how complete strangers, tired commuters like me, harmonised as if we'd rehearsed. I sat there stunned, then found myself smiling and quietly joining in too. When my stop came, I almost didn't want to leave. Who knew a boring bus could turn into something so magical? I still hum that tune sometimes.

It began as a perfectly normal afternoon in my local library, where I'd gone to return a couple of books. Everything was calm and silent, exactly as you'd expect. Then I noticed something slightly odd: a small crowd was quietly gathering near the back shelves, whispering and glancing at the clock. Curious, I wandered over, and that's when the truly unusual thing happened. At exactly three o'clock, the librarians pulled back a curtain to reveal a tiny hidden reading room, complete with a secret door disguised as a bookcase, opening for the very first time. Everyone gasped, and honestly so did I. I ended up spending the whole afternoon exploring it. To think I'd walked past that wall dozens of times, never guessing what was behind it. It made me realise how many small wonders we miss in the most familiar places.
